The Chamber Diplomats serve as ambassadors for the Chamber of Commerce and Durango's businesses. Comprising of 40 members, this group of volunteers assists with member programs and special events, celebrates member accomplishments, and fosters community engagement. Their primary goal is to bolster Durango's business community, inspire collaboration, and promote participation within the community.
What We Do
Welcome Members
Create meaningful first impressions and lasting connections. Diplomats greet new members, spark engagement, and help every business feel supported, connected, and valued within the Chamber community.
Business After Hours
Support one of the Chamber’s most popular networking events. Diplomats volunteer for check-in, help behind the bar, and serve as ambassadors, welcoming new members and first-time attendees while building connections of their own.
Ribbon Cuttings
Celebrate growth and success with our business community. Ribbon cuttings mark grand openings, expansions, and milestones—welcoming new members and spotlighting the spirit of entrepreneurship that makes Durango thrive.

Many thanks to the 2025 Diplomats for their dedication to our community!
