The mission of the Young Professionals of Durango (YPOD) is to "connect, empower and engage" young professionals, ages 21-39, by providing educational, social, and philanthropic activities that include community and civic involvement to help actively shape the future of Durango.

We love to create fun, engaging social gatherings to promote connecting and interaction amongst the group. Planning our monthly happy hours and our get togethers is a great way to get involved. If you prefer a casual setting, this is a great place to jump in!
Philanthropic Committee:
As involved young professionals, giving back to our community is essential in leaving a lasting impact. This is our chance to make a difference in various reaches of the community, such as outdoor space revitalization, youth engagement, food drives, etc. If this is an area you are passionate about, please share your ideas on additional ways in which we can serve our community.
Education & Workshops Committee:
We’re all about creating opportunities to learn, grow, and share knowledge. From nonprofit board basics to AI workshops and first-time homebuyer sessions, our Education Committee aims to bring valuable insights to young professionals.
